Ripplix surf hats are designed specifically for surfing, paddling and days in and around the water. Super lightweight, quick-drying and built with an adjustable chin strap, the Ride On Surf Hat combines the familiar look of a baseball cap with features designed for water use.
Whether you're paddling for a wave, cruising on a longboard, boating or spending the day at the beach, Ripplix was designed to provide stylish and comfortable sun coverage with water-specific features including a flippable visor, floatability, pony-tail hole, adjustability and an anti-microbial headband.
These hats can also be worn like a regular baseball cap with the strap tucked into the crown for walking on the beach or surf skating in the parking lot.
Unlike many surf hats that are one-size-fits-all and only available in one or two solid color choices, Ripplix surf hats are available in a variety of designs in three sizes for kids and adults.

Designed to Stay Secure in the Water
A regular baseball cap can easily come off while paddling, surfing or boating.
Ripplix surf hats feature an adjustable chin strap designed to help keep the hat secure during water activities.
Adjust the strap for a comfortable fit before entering the water. For surfing and more active water use, a snug fit can help keep the hat more secure.
For stronger surf or repeated duck dives, the hat should be worn snug. Like most surf hats, it may shift back during forceful duck dives, especially in bigger conditions.
A Flippable Visor for Better Visibility
One of the most distinctive features of the Ripplix Ride On Surf Hat is its flippable visor.
Flip the visor up while paddling to improve peripheral vision and reduce the amount of water pushing against the brim.
Flip it back down when you want additional shade from the sun.
Lightweight and Quick Drying
Heavy, waterlogged hats can become uncomfortable in the water.
Ripplix surf hats are made from lightweight recycled polyester designed not to soak up water and dry quickly after getting wet.
Unlike a rigid baseball hat, the lightweight construction of the Ripplix hat allows it to float, folded, take up less space and be more comfortable. Our surf hats are so lightweight that users often say they forget that they are wearing it. The brim/visor is stiff but bendable so that it can be bent to have the preferred curvature.
Ripplix Surf Hats Float
If your hat comes off in the water, the floating feature can make it easier to spot and retrieve. Sometimes, the chin strap may not feel necessary (e.g. boogie boarding, small, relaxed surf, frolicking in the water, etc.), so it is nice to have a hat that floats just in case it gets knocked off.

For the best fit, measure around your head just above your ears before choosing a size.
